We Want Your Input!
Elk Point-Jefferson School District is exploring exciting improvements to our playgrounds and football field area, and we need YOUR ideas! We are also asking for input on a school climate/culture survey.
Playground Upgrades Under Consideration
We want to create a safer, more fun, and all-season play area!
Proposed upgrades include:
Replacing woodchips with fall-safe turf or rubber surfacing
Installing single-pole swings to maximize space
Removing unneeded asphalt and replacing with turf to reduce weeds, mud, and mess
🏈 Football Field Enhancements
After last year’s hailstorm, we have a chance to reimagine the interstate side of the football field. Possibilities include:
Seating for the opponent’s section
Upgraded pressbox for media and filming
Planting trees or landscaping for safety and beauty
Or keeping the open view—if that’s preferred
Climate, Safety, Environment
The school district wants impact on:
Physical Safety
Emotional Well-Being
Scheduling
Communication
Please take the survey and provide your input!
📋 Take the Surveys!
We want your voice in this process. Please take a few minutes to complete:
📌 Facilities & Needs Survey
📌 Climate, Safety & School Environment Survey
Coming Soon: Outdoor Facilities Fundraising Campaign
Once input is collected, we’ll launch a campaign to raise funds for these improvements. Our goal: top-tier facilities for our communities—and a safe, welcoming environment for all.
Thank you for supporting EPJ!
Let’s work together to build something great.
