Congratulations to all of our state participants this past weekend, and good luck to our State Golf competitors today and tomorrow!
We had numerous school records, personal bests, and an outstanding 4th-place team finish by the girls' track team. We are proud of all of our student-athletes and coaches for their hard work and dedication.
**State Softball**
For the fourth consecutive year, the EPJ Huskies softball team has qualified for the state tournament.
The Huskies will open tournament play against Madison at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday in Aberdeen.
Good luck, Huskies!
**School Board Election**
There will be a school board election tomorrow as part of the primary election. Regardless of political party affiliation, all eligible voters may vote in the school board election.
There are two open seats and three candidates. Listed alphabetically by last name, the candidates are:
• Jay Gabel
• Erik Hanson
• Tracy McDonald
All three candidates have a vested interest in the success of our school district and would serve the community well. Please take the time to vote.
**Summer Construction and Projects**
The school will be undergoing significant remodeling this summer in the old middle school area while also completing the new kitchen and cafeteria project.
If you are visiting the school this summer, please check in at the office and use the appropriate entrance. Student-athletes attending activities should continue to use the athletic entrance.

• First Day of School – August 25, 2026
**Summer Office Hours**
The administrative office will remain open throughout the summer. Please contact us if you need assistance or have questions.
