EPJ wrestling is at Wagner tomorrow (January 31) for the Tom Studelska Invitational with wrestling starting at 10 am.
EPJ girls basketball travels to Madison tomorrow to play in the DSU Classic on campus - they play Pine Ridge at 12:00 pm. The boys travel to Madison to play in the DAK XII/NEC Clash at the high school - they play Deuel at 12:30 pm. Good luck to both teams!
The C/JV boys basketball game at Hinton on Monday, February 2 has been cancelled and will not be played this year. Thanks
Husky Sparklers made their debut at last night's wrestling quad! 🐾 Building confidence, teamwork, and school spirit, one cheer at a time!
4th graders had a blast in science; learning about the different plate boundaries! Students used graham crackers and coolwhip to show the three types. They of course got to eat them when finished... yum!
Reminder: Little Huskies Cheer Camp for grades PK-6 will take place Monday, February 23rd. Camp will be held in the MS Gym from 3:15pm to 5:00pm with the performance of material taking place later that night at halftime of the boys varsity basketball game. Registration is due back by this TODAY January 30th at 3:15pm. Students in 6th grade may pick up a registration form in the MS/HS Office if interested.
Throwback to warmer days: one of the things sixth graders do in Explore is use microscopes. We were grateful for some warmish January weather to collect some pond water. We found snails, water bugs, and a few little friends out and about in the pond. We also looked at aquarium plants and saw plant cells. A favorite part of microscopes is capturing images to share with our friends, family, and community.

Once upon a time when the weather was warm (January 13) the eighth grade hit the ground running in forces and motion. Students took turns running a 40-yd dash. We didn't make the NFL, but Elijah ran it in 4.95 seconds.
Mrs. Hartog's class conducted classmate interviews to learn more about each other. We then presented something new we learned about our partners!

Mrs. Van Wyk's 5th grade Reading class practice their "Winter" Spelling words by writing them in their makeshift snow.
Mrs. Hartog's 4th graders had to test their knowledge with equivalent fractions to "break out" of the bakery during their escape room.
EPJ Unified Cheer, the Husky Sparklers, had their second practice of the season tonight! We learned a few more wrestling cheers and then worked on some spirit posters to hang around school. There was great teamwork and Husky school spirit shown today. 🐾
Come out tonight and see the One Act Play performance of 'The Dress Rehearsal Disaster' at 7:30 pm in the MS gym. Gate will be $5 for adults and $3 for students. Tomorrow the 16 person crew performs at 10:15 am at Vermillion HS in the regional competition.

EPJ girls basketball will take on the Pine Ridge Lady Thorpes on Saturday, January 31 at 12:00 pm in Madison at the DSU Classic. Games will be played at the fieldhouse on the DSU campus in Madison.
